DC's Version of Marvel Legacy Makes Sense

Slowly, the comics news sites are revealing DC titles are resuming older numbering, which pre-dates Rebirth, and probably New 52, numbering. Kind of like Marvel Legacy. However, I hazard to say DC's Legacy makes more sense actually.

While Marvel Legacy is essentially a PR move, DC's rumored re-numbering is more about time. DC Rebirth is meant to restore the classic elements New 52 chucked aside. Well, spoilers, Rebirth is really much more than that. See, New 52 wasn't really a new reality; but a cosmic alteration of the Post-Crisis DC many readers grew up on. The story of Rebirth is about gradually taking the New 52 and slowly easing the DC universe back to what it was before. Without disrespecting the readers who came aboard for New 52.

Since DC is going back to what it was before storywise, only fitting the titles resume their old legacy numbering.
